CURRENT  RESEARCH

In the past I developed optimized Associated Legendre Polynomial generation, as well as the calculation of Spherical Harmonics based on those polynomials. This optimization, combined with the modern GPUs, is allowing us to attempt to do create a degree 1000+ (1 million+ coefficient) crustal field model.

Other work involves implementing existing models into software and python libraries for end users. This involves optimizing model calculations to take place with large datasets on computers of varying modernity.
