When you sign in with Google, we collect your name, email address, and profile information necessary to create and manage your account. - Survey Data
When you conduct a survey, we collect information including:- GPS location data (coordinates of survey points).
- Magnetic field data recorded by your device’s sensors.
- Survey metadata (survey name, timestamp, device type, user ID).
- Photos and images you capture or upload.
- Text notes and audio notes you record.
- Device Information
Basic technical details about your device and operating system (e.g., iOS/Android version, device model) for troubleshooting and app performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected to:
- Enable core app functions such as mapping, survey creation, and data collection.
- Conduct scientific and environmental research related to undocumented orphaned wells (UOWs).
- Ensure the safety and integrity of collected data for analysis and reporting.

- You may review and delete surveys you have created within the App.
- You may request deletion of your account information by contacting us at magmapper@colorado.edu
- You can choose not to grant location or camera permissions, but some features of the App may not function properly without them.
