Research Interests

My research interests in building calculators and software to run the geomagnetic models produced by the CIRES geomagnetism team. I use C and Python to create user interfaces, online calculators, and supporting documentation for these distributed models.

Current Research

Much of my work is supporting the building of geomagnetic models, by generating user interfaces, online calculators, and aide in testing of finished products.  I work closely with the model users to enhance their experience with our models and make it as user-friendly and beneficial as possible to the greater citizen and scientific communities.

Currently I am working on implementing a mesh version of the Enhanced Magnetic Model (EMM).  This is a high speed, precomputed, software that returns a high volume of data points quickly.
